When making a booking series, sometimes the room will not be available for the entire series
When a room is not available the system will highlight this during the booking process indicated as RED opposite
3 Options are available to the End-User
1.Remove the booking for that day 
2.Change the Room 
3.Pick a different time for that Room
This will also update your Outlook Calendar once you have made your selection
For complex recurrences, it may be easier to manage these using the Web version as the sync will be quicker to Smartway2
